On Monday, you’re Gordon Ramsay.
By Thursday, you’re a person staring blankly into the fridge wondering whether toast counts as a vegetable.
Here are five realistic weeknight meals designed to survive the Thursday slump:
1. Eggs + Something Green + Toast
Not glamorous.
Always perfect.
Fast, calming, filling — the holy trinity.
2. Salmon + Frozen Veg + Rice
Put salmon in the oven. Boil rice. Microwave vegetables.
Congratulate yourself on being an adult.
3. Stir-Fry Anything With Soy, Honey, and Lime
Chicken, prawns, tofu — whatever’s left.
Throw it in a pan with garlic. Done.
4. Pasta + Tinned Tomatoes + Cheese
This isn’t a recipe. This is survival.
And it works every time.
5. Soup + Bread + Add Something Green
Soup is the official food of people trying to keep it together.
Add greens to make it feel like a decision.
The point isn’t culinary excellence. It’s not collapsing.
If you can eat a calm, normal dinner on a Thursday, the rest of your week is basically sorted.
